Deut. 32: 9-14; Matthew 6:32-33
The Bible says, “For after all these things do the gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”
The above scripture tells us expressly that it is God that will do the adding. But it is at this point that several Christians miss out on God’s method. Several ministers of the gospel have ruined their destiny in pursuit of money to buy a car because almost every other minister in town has a car. God is not against you riding a car or having necessities but it should neither be at the expense of your destiny nor should it be through ungodly means. However, for the eagle believers, God will feed them with the choicest wheat, you will ride on the high places of the earth and you will eat honey out of the flinty rock. The eagle has come to a place that God is responsible for giving him the choicest things of His kingdom.
God finds a choice daughter of Zion for the brother who has labored to become an eagle before the Lord, even though every young man seeks her hand in marriage. Eagles don’t eat dead things but living things. While a minister is selling his church to buy a car, God sends somebody from overseas to give a car to another eagle minister without stress and struggle and he does not burden anyone.
While others are fighting and scampering to get a job, someone recommends the eagle believer and he gets the job on the platform of divine favour. Therefore, do everything in your capacity to become an eagle believer. Study the word, pray regularly and effectively, and develop your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and also master faith.
Prayer: Lord, help me to leave the lower level of life and walk with You. I receive your permission to move on to the deeper things of the spirit in Jesus name.
